Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s Portuguese/English language exchange night at the Lapa Irish Pub. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired up with native Portuguese speaker at tables.
The pairs will then speak English for 5 minutes followed by Portuguese for 5 minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner.
It’s both a fun and educational night and a greet way to meet native English and Portuguese speakers. Additionally, the R$10 entrance cost includes free food.
