Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Brazilian Wax will be back at Fosfobox yet again for another edition of their very popular breaks, funk and electronic music night. Brought to you by Pedro Piu and company, these festas have proven success time and time again, bringing to light some of Brazil’s top talent in the art of music. Tonight is no different with famed star Nego Moçambique.

Nego Moçambique is a Brazilian producer living in Canada, doing live acts, producing original music, remixes and soundtracks for TV and film. With two albums released, the artist has made a strong name for himself both inside and outside of Brazil. Catch this unique and rare show. Support from Brazilian Wax’s own Pedro Piu and La Folie’s Rockaphone.

This long time producer, performer and all around funkster is in Brazil for a short time, so you will not want to miss his amazing live show. D-Date (Gávea)
D-Date continues this week with resident Bernardo Campos and special guests Calvin, celebrating his birthday and Luis Pareto, a true DJ icon of Brasil. Known for his incredible sets and variety of wigs, he always aims to entertain. Arrive early for dinner with the fixed price menu chosen specifically for D-Date attendees.

Veneno (Botafogo)
