Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s time again for the best of tech and deep house as the MAD Thursday series returns to Fosfobox in Copacabana tonight.
MAD stands for the event’s producers, MAU, Amazing Disgusting and DMNA and tonight they will present live performances by DJ and music producer BQVC, AKA Bruno Queiroz and electronic musician Tati Pimont.
Additionally resident DJs Maurício Lopes and Manara will spin in the subsolo (basement) during the night and DJ πollanda will spin above at the fosfobar.

Tonight the Homegrown Gallery in Ipanema opens “As Cores do Rio,” its first exhibition of 2015. Celebrating skateboarding and urban culture through the work of photographer and videographer Ronaldo Land, the exhibition will be open until January 29th.

Tonight the Yes! We Love Passion returns to La Passion Club in Glória. The weekly party features an open bar until 4AM and DJs Rodrigo Mattos and Renato Edde spinning the best of house, hip-hop, and funk. The open bar will feature beer, vodka, Hi-Fi, Blue Hawaii, Malibu Pine Apple, Sex On The Beach, Cuba Libre, Lagoa Azul, water and sodas. Tonight at Lapa’s Leviano bar it’s time to dance as the group Mano a Mano starts things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor, while on the second floor the weekly Forró Leviano party will present Vixe and Conterrâneos performing live.
