foofightersSunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The Foo Fighters arrive in Rio tonight to perform live at the famous soccer (football) stadium, Estádio do Maracanã.

The American rock band, fronted by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, was formed by Grohl in 1994 in Seattle, Washington, USA following the death Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

Since their formation, the Foo Fighters have released eight studio albums and have had hits with songs that include “Learn to Fly”, “All My Life”, “Everlong“, “Best of You”, “The Pretender“, and “These Days”, among others.
