Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Get ready for a night of blaring horns and blasting percussion as the American group Hypnotic Brass Ensemble and the Rio de Janeiro brass bloco (Carnival group) Orquestra Voadora perform live at Circo Voador in Lapa.
An eight-piece based in Chicago, the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble is known from their wide-ranging style. Featuring only brass players and percussionists, their sounds move energetically from jazz, to funk, to rock to hip-hop.
Orquestra Voadora (The Flying Orchestra) is one of the most popular and lively blocos in Rio. They are well-known for their innovative blends of samba and pop classics.
Additionally during the night, Muntchako and Marofas Grass Band will perform live. This event is not to be missed by fans of brass, samba, jazz and big bands in Rio.

The Me So Horny party returns to Casa da Matriz in Botafogo tonight with the best of hip hop, trap, and pop. It’s time again for the best of rock and live music as the Leviano Bar in Lapa hosts the Leviano Rock Night event tonight.
