Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Run VDG returns for another special edition at the top of the Vidigal mountain. Tonight will feature three exceptional DJs playing the best in-house disco and techno. Resident Mahara Belgrano welcomes guest DJs Murray Richardson from the U.K and Michal Scheffler from Poland.
If you have not been to a party at Alto Vidigal, then you are definitely missing out. Situated at the very top of the hill, you can see all of Rio while dancing to pure house music. Murray Richardson hails from the U.K. and is best known for his party Rebel Waltz which has been running since the late Nineties worldwide. Richardson is a solid DJ and producer, having released his special blend of underground house music on such labels as 20:20 Vision, Low Pressings, Nordic Trax and more.

Passion Pit is an American electropop band formed in 2007 by Michael Angelakos, Ian Hultquist, Xander Singh, Jeff Apruzzese and Nate Donmyer. All the band members, except Angelakos, attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston. The band has released two albums, which received great reviews, “Manners” in 2009, and “Gossamer” in 2012.
