Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The Titãs are a staple here in Brazil. Tonight they return to Circo Voador to play some of their most popular hits as this monster band returns to the stage in Lapa. The Titãs are one of the most successful bands in Brazil. The band has sold more than 6.3 million albums and have been covered by several well-known Brazilian artists and even a couple of international singers. They were awarded a Latin GRAMMY in 2009 and have won the Imprensa Trophy for Best Band a record four times. Their most well known album was Cabeça Dinossauro, which they will be playing tonight.

Titãs (Lapa)
One of the best rock bands to ever take the stage in Brazil are back at Circo Voador. The Titãs will be playing hits from their very popular album, Cabeça Dinossauro. Expect to be schooled in the art of Brazilian rock.

Ensaio Bangalafumenga (Lapa)
Its carnaval time in Rio, and Ensaio Bangalafumenga will be making their first performance at Fundição Progresso tonight. Come watch as they prepare for the parade at the Sambadrómo.
