Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Already established as the best club of the south zone of Rio, Cave Club has decided to create an evening that encompasses the concept of amazing music, public and party! Thus, Cave Sessions was born for music lovers and party people. For the premiere edition, they have spared no effort as they welcome a heavy duty roster of DJs for the night.

First up is Art in Motion, considered one of the biggest names in Brazilian electronic music, having played all over Brazil and the world. Next up is the Carioca MVP himself – Leo Janeiro, definitely one of the busiest DJs in Brazil, with residencies in Rio, Sao Paulo, Santa Catarina and much more. Holosound joins the team, founder and brains behind Latin America Boiler Room, the online streaming party sensation. Plus Eelke Kleijn, a Dutch DJ, based in Rotterdam, who moves from movie soundtracks and advertising, live shows, musical productions, while playing some of the best dance floors in the world. Finally we can’t forget our good friend and Rio representative DJ Pedro Piu, who is known for his eclectic sound and busy DJ schedule.

Bloco: Bloco da Pracinha (Jardim Botanico)
Considered one of the more famous blocos of Rio de Janeiro, Bloco da Pracinha is celebrated in the streets of Jardim Botanico.

Bloco da Mamadeira (Botafogo)
Bloco da Mamadeira takes place in the beautiful bairro of Botafogo, thought by many to be the new face of the south zone. Enjoy the sounds of Carnival as the bloco circles Praça Parque General Leandro.

LIVE:

Pré Carnival do Lenine (Lapa)
Brazilian superstar Lenine kicks off his own Carnival celebration with a special show at one of Rio’s most iconic live music venues. The show will include a reunion with his former songwriter and prior band members.

Run VDG (Vidigal)
Since last weeks show was cancelled due to the risk of rain, the crew is back with yet another edition of the widely popular RUN VDG, the first house party in Vidigal. Tonight the crew has all residents on deck as Mike Frugaletti, Chris Rocha and Jody King welcome guest DJ Gustavo Tata.

Cave Sessions #1 (Copacabana)
Cave Club goes off today with a serious lineup of DJs to help kick off the Rio Music Conference. DJs for the night include Eelke Kleijn, Leo Janeiro, Holosound, Art In Motion, Pedro Piu and Eclectic.
