Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The Red Bull BC One B-Boy Championship arrives for the final round in Rio at Fundição Progresso tonight, featuring the best of the best battling it out for 1st place. The Red Bull BC One is the largest b-boy championship in the world, executing 50 cyphers of competitors in random countries over the globe, producing qualifiers from USA, France, Bulgaria, Morroco, Korea and of course Brazil.

B-boying was born in the early 80’s, stemming from the hip hop culture which rose in the streets of NYC. After years of work, the dance style has transformed into and international sensation, blending unique floor work with acrobatics and pop locking. Seen in almost every facet of society today, come see who is considered to be the best in the world.
