Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Get mellow with Kings of Convenience, the indie folk-pop duo from Bergen, Norway known for their intricate and calming guitar melodies.

The group hit a new record by selling 315 units in ten hours to bring the Kings of Convenience to Rio de Janeiro. The duo formed by Norwegian Erlend Oye and Eirik Boe tour will present the “Declaration of Dependence” tonight at Circo Voador.

Sururu na Roda (Lapa)
Sururu na Roda is formed by Nilze Oak, Fabiano Salek, Sean Chapman, and newcomer Juliana Zanardi. The group is one of the most famous samba circles and was an integral part in the process of revitalization of Lapa, the bohemian icon of Rio de Janeiro.
