Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The popular Putzbrilha party returns to Rio tonight and will make the Copacabana club Fosfobox and party-goers come alive with fluorescent paint glowing under multiple black lights.
DJ Johnny Ice with be on hand to throw down the best of his new Heavy Baile mixes, while DJs Tomás Tróia, Larissa Busch, Brad Pitt and the Putzbrilha! Crew will spin the best of pop, bass, house, hip-hop, funk, brasildades and indie rock.

Because the city is glowing tonight, the ROCK N GLØW party returns to Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz tonight for its ninth edition. There will be black lights and neon glowing everywhere you turn and free shots of Neon Drink. Promotions will also include dose dupla (two for one) caipivodka and Hi-Fi until 1AM. On the venue’s first floor, DJs Halux, Rizzotto and Senna will spin the best of electropop, bass, trap and indie. Upstairs, DJs Felipe Eboli and Marcus Rodrigues will spin the best of rock.

The group Batuque na Cozinha will follow at 11PM with their interpretations of the works of Noel Rosa, Zeca Pagodinho, Monarco, Mauro Diniz, Délcio Carvalho, Wanderley Monteiro, João da Baiana and Candeia, among others. Then for the Forró na Madrugada segment of the night, the group Trio Ustrês will return to perform the best of the genres of baiões, frevos, cocos, forrós, xotes, xaxados and maracatus, from 2:30AM until sunrise.

Tonight in Lapa, it’s time for the Let’s Pop party at Leviano bar.
