Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight there is a battle of the ages in Botafogo at the classic Rio venue, Casa da Matriz. Bruna is the New Black returns for an edgy rocker special edition, featuring a classic rock battle between the U.S. and the UK.
Bruna is the New Black was created in most part to pay homage to the classic songs that survive the test of time. Music today doesn’t seem to carry on or have the same impact it did in the early eighties and nineties. Today you will be reminded of those hits. The set features hits from Oasis, Blur, The Who, Pink Floyd, Sued, Pulp, The Kinks, and The Beatles vs. hits from Nirvana, The Foo Fighters, The Offspring, The Ramones, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Jimmi Hendrix, Janis Joplin,The White Stripes and more.
