Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The Odisséia Paratodos event will celebrate its one-year anniversary tonight at Teatro Odisséia in Lapa.
There will be DJs and the band Folks will perform live. The band Limusine Carioca will also perform live and launch their new album, Bombardeio.
Additionally there will be exhibitions of works by photographers Gabriela Perez, Tainá Felix, and Vinicius Giffoni and drawings, paintings and tye-dye works by Amanda Richard, Ananda Muylaert, Camila do Rosário, Dado Oliveira, Geogre Nascimento, Joana Uchoa, Mila carneiro de Moras, Nuno Ramalho, and Pê Mendes.
There will also be a mini-fair with Abraxas selling t-shirts, posters, and CDs; Cora Marinho selling clothing; Informal Discos selling vinyl records; and Radio Libertá selling t-shirts.

Tonight São Paulo singer Iara Rennó will perform the classic Maria Bethânia album, Drama, live at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. During the show Rennó will be accompanied by drummer Leo Monteiro, guitarist Felipe Fernandes and bassist Bruno Di Lullo.

The O Club Workout (the Workout Club) returns to Rio’s Cave club in Arpoador tonight for another special AfroVibe edition with Maryam Kaba. The Club Workout originated in NYC and arrived in Rio following the success of classes in São Paulo. The event is an aerobic twerk class inspired by pop diva choreography. The class will last approximately one hour.
