A quarta é de cinzas, mas o Macaco tá em festa @ Macaco Caolho (Copacabana) – Macaco Caolho are commemorating the end of Carnival with a huge Ash Wednesday blow-out.
Drinks offers include two-for-one on chope beer and caipirinhas until 9PM and double measures on shots all night long, plus, there’s twenty percent off selected drinks.
They open their doors at 7PM and there’s free entry until 9PM (after that it’s R$10 entry).

BELO DIA de Carnaval @ Jockey Club (Gávea) – This Wednesday, the Jockey Club are putting on an outdoor festival-style event to signal the traditional end of Carnival. Except here Carnival doesn’t end, as they have a top line-up of musical guests, DJs and plenty of food and drink to keep the party spirit alive!
Music for this event includes singer Belo, formerly of the group Soweto, and one of Brazil’s top stars Ludmilla.
Tickets are available from R$100 and the party should begin at around 3PM.

Bloco dos Batuqueiros @ Beco do Rato (Lapa) – This will be a fun all-day party as legendary samba bar Beco do Rato is taken over by Bloco dos Batuqueiros.
Plenty of drinks will be on offer at the bar and there should also be the usual food options.
Entry is free but prepare to dance, and this bloco officially kicks off at noon but should continue on until well into the evening.

Flashback (Ipanema)
Flashback is a high-end restaurant with plenty of classical music and photos decorating the walls. Tonight, between 7PM and 9PM the restaurant will serve a happy hour with two for one on caipivodkas and Stella Artois. The caipivodkas are made fresh with either lime, strawberry or passionfruit as well as additional herbs added in for a taste explosion.
