Mark Lambert & Quinteto Radio Swing (Copacabana) – American singer, guitarist, and composer, Mark Lambert, will be performing tonight at Blue Note Rio.
He will lead a band of outstanding Brazilian instrumentalists, the Quinteto Radio Swing. The performers include ML (voice and guitar), Julio Nascimento (trumpet, flugel), Jefferson Lescowich (acoustic and electric bass), and Jimmy Duchowny (drums).
Their style of music is known as “jump swing,” a fusion of jazz and rhythm & blues.
