PARTY:
New Roots Popular @ CaipiHostel 373 (Lapa) – Forró New Roots has a new dance class. On Tuesdays after work, participants are invited to come and enjoy the happy hour at Caipi Hostel in Lapa, and then enjoy some forró dancing afterwards.

The event starts at 6:30PM and goes until 8PM with a class of forró at a very reasonable price. This is one to encourage people to have a go at this uniquely Brazilian dance. There is guaranteed fun to be had and new friends to be made, as well as a good workout for both the body and the mind.

The monthly fee is just R$50 for the whole month! This is one for those who dare to try something different, sociable and enjoyable.

XIII Copa Bar @ Beer House 57 (Botafogo) – How about a game of darts at Botafogo’s Beer House 57? The FCDT – ‘Federação Carioca de Dardos Tradicionais’ (Carioca Federation of Traditional Darts) and Beer House 57 are inviting players to the thirteenth edition of the Bar Cup.

The event awaits players seeking a better position in the 2018 World Cup standings. The competition is still very intense, with more than R$2,500 already distributed in prizes, as well as other gifts, bonuses and surprises!

This is also a great excuse to get down to Beer House 57, with sixteen beer taps on the go and always featuring the best and freshest craft beer from Rio, Brazil, and further afield. Breweries such as Hocus Pocus, Antuérpia and Old School are regulars. Plus, you can order half pints (300ml), pints (500ml) and even 1 liter growlers – to take away!

This event gets going at 8PM and costs R$20 entry.

LIVE:
Trem Violado @ CCJF (Centro) – Trem Violado stop off at the CCJF – ‘Centro Cultural da Justiça Federal no Centro do Rio’ (Cultural Center of Federal Justice in the Center of Rio) with the show ‘Tempo Maestro’ (Master Time).

In their repertoire will be new arrangements of classics by Raul Seixas, Beto Guedes, Dominguinhos, among others. Trem Violado are Patrícia Bento, Voice; Allyson Alves, Guitars; Dudu Valdez, Guitar and voice; Igor Siqueira, Wind Instruments; with participation from Carlinhos Rufino, on percussion.

Tickets are between R$15-R$30 and the night gets going at 7PM.
