Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Every Tuesday night, the Lapa Irish Pub is hosting the Language Exchange.
Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner.
Following the Language Exchange, there will be a live session of traditional Irish music.

Tacy de Campos (Botafogo)
Tonight singer/songwriter and multi-intstrumentalist Tacy de Campos will present her show “Manifesto da canção” (“Manifesto of the song”) live at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. Known for her repertoire that ranges for rock to country to punk to blues to jazz to pop, Campos will be accompanied by guitarist Diogo Viola, drummer Mauricio Brage, and bassist Miguel Dias during the show. Additionally, guitarist Toni Costa will perform during the night.

Bem Brasil – The Rio Hostels Party (Ipanema)
The Bem Brasil party will once again take place at Miroir in Ipanema tonight. It will include live samba from the band Pretensão and DJs Luciano Roffer and Haron Dufau spinning the best of hip hop, Latin rhythms, reggaeton, cumbia, and kuduro throughout the night. Promotions will include free caipirinhas from 10PM until midnight.
