Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The Festa Bem Brasil is back and taking over the chic indoor/outdoor 00 (Zero Zero) club in Gávea tonight.
The band Pretensão will perform live and DJ Haron Dufau will spin the best of hip hop, Latin rhythms, reggaeton, cumbia, and kuduro throughout the night. Promotions will include free caipirinhas starting at 10PM until midnight.
Bem Brasil is known for a weekly schedule of parties and events focused on bringing young and adventurous travelers from the many hostels in Rio out to experience the local culture.

Tonight will be the third of four nights of presentations by guitarist, bandolinist, and violinist Jorge Mautner at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. Mautner will sing the best of sambas imortais (immortal sambas) tonight.

The Rio Fest party is back at Sette Leblon bar and lounge tonight. There will be welcome glasses of champagne for women until 12AM and free caipivodkas for all until 12:30AM. Language Exchange – Lapa Irish Pub (Lapa)
Tonight the Portuguese/English Language Exchange returns to Lapa Irish Pub. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speakers at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s both a fun and educational night. Following the Language Exchange, there will be live music.
