Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight Casa da Matriz begins its week-long celebrations of its 15th anniversary with a very special edition of Matrix Live Sessions.
Created with the goal of making rock ‘n’ roll more affordable and making Tuesday nights more lively, the Matriz Live Sessions were one of the earliest regular events hosted by the club.
Bands Rockted and Reverse will perform live tonight and promotions will include two-for-one specials on caipirinhas all night.

Tonight Quintavant Qtv will present the debut performance of Fernando Torres at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. During the show Torres will present “Entrópica” with Leo Alves and Pedro Pagnuzzi. Additionally during the night, composer and artist Luca Forcucci will perform.

Matriz Live Sessions with Rockted and Reverse(Botafogo)
Spotlighting up-and-coming rock bands and musicians while adding some life to typically less than lively Tuesday nights in Rio, the ‘Matriz Live Sessions,’ event is back at Casa da Matriz in Botafogo. Tonight the bands Rockted and Reverse will perform live and promotions will include two-for-one caipirinhas all night.

Feel Leblon (Leblon)
The weekly Feel Leblon party is back at Sette Leblon bar and lounge tonight. Promotions include all you can drink caipirinhas until midnight and two for one beers for R$15 all night long. During the event, DJs Guga Fernandez and Matheus will spin the best of electronica, trap, house, indie rock, funk Carioca, hip hop, reggeation, and samba. Entry fee is free for women until 12:30AM.

Language Exchange – Lapa Irish Pub (Lapa)
Tonight at Lapa Irish Pub, it’s time again for the Portuguese/English Language Exchange. Set up like speed dating, native English speakers will be paired with native Portuguese speaker at tables. The pairs will then speak English for five minutes followed by Portuguese for five minutes. After those ten minutes, each speaker will move on to a new table and conversation partner. It’s both a fun and educational night and the R$10 entrance cost includes free food. Following the Language Exchange tonight, tradtional Irish music will be performed live.
