Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – On Thursday nights in October, the Praia Club is hosting the Shake u Party.
Tonight Jonathan K, E$$, and De Luca will spin the best of pop indie, house, funk, hip hop, trap, and Latin rhythms during the party.
The entrance fee will be free for women with their names on the list until 12AM and there will be an open bar for women until 12AM. Caipirinhas will be free for men until 12AM. Additional promotions will include two-for-one specials on beer and vodka plus energy drinks all night long.

Tonight at Audio Rebel, Quintavant / QTV will present the third night of Macalândia, a serious of events where contemporary Brazilian artists deconstruct and reconstruct the works of Jards Macalé. Tonight Ava Rocha, Negro Leo, Pedro Dantas, and Thomas Harres will perform their reinterpretiations of Macalé’s 1977 album Contrastes.

Tonight Nelson Felix will start the night at Carioca da Gema beginning at 8:30 PM and Toninho Geraes will follow at 10:30PM. The Salsa and Forró party is back at Lapa’s Leviano bar tonight and that mean it’s time to dance.
