Sambotica (Cosme Velho) – The Sambotica will bring the the best “roda de samba” to the charming Largo do Boticário this afternoon, in Cosme Velho.

Starting at 4PM, the free outdoor presentation will gather eight musicians who will bring special renditions of samba classics. Group Pim Pim Pom will be opening Sambotica’s show.

Mureta Groove (Leme) – Good music and a stunning sunset meet this evening in Leme as the Mureta Groove party returns to Mureta do Leme, starting from 6PM.

DJs Nicko and Drope will pump the party up with the best of disco, house, black music soul and Brazilian music.

Jazz de Quinta com Zé Bigode (Tijuca) – Tonight, singer and instrumentalist Zé Bigode goes up on Doninha Delivery’s stage, in Tijuca, participating in the “Jazz de Quinta” project.

Starting at 8PM, the show brings an interesting blend of jazz music, Afrobeat and even Brazil’s regional rhythms, like maracatu and baião.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

The Canastra Wine Bar in Ipanema offers a great selection of wines and cheeses and is quickly becoming known for its nice atmosphere and friendly service.
