Moça Prosa (Tijuca) – Exclusively composed of female musicians, Moça Prosa performs tonight at the great Dida Bar e Restaurante, in Tijuca.

Moça’s “roda de samba” will honor the day with the special participation of Luciene Lacerda and Ekeji, activists for the black feminism. The presentation starts at 6PM.

Festa da Raça (Centro) – Tonight, Praça Tiradentes, in Centro, will be hosting samba group “Festa da Raça”, at 6PM.

Paying tribute to International Women’s Day, the “roda” will invite singers Marcelle Motta and Andreia Caffe to perform.

Orquestra Lunar (Lagoa) – The Orquestra Lunar will be starring tonight at the Blue Note Rio, in Lagoa, at 10:30 PM.

Composed of nine talented musicians, the orchestra will present a surprising blend of samba and jazz music.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Pub Escondido (Copacabana)
