Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s time for the best of tech, deep house and hip hop as Fosfobox in Copacabana hosts the B-side & Aftech parties tonight.
During the night in the subsolo (basement), DJ Felipe Fella, Marcelo Frota, and Romeu Matos will spin and Renato Bastos and Dessanti and Breaking Legs and Bochner will spin back-to-back sets. Additionally, Miguel Bastia will spin a special long set.
Above at the Fosfobar, DJs Paula Carvalho, Dede Menezes, and Beranger, aka DJ Hawk, will spin the best of hip hop throughout the night.

The Salsa and Forró party is back at Lapa’s Leviano bar tonight and that means it’s time to dance. The group Mano a Mano will start things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor and singer Marcelo Mimoso accompanied by musicians Carlos Cachaça, Nandinho Barros, Chico Oliveira, Chris Mourão and Rodrigo Ramalho will perform the best of forró on the second floor during the night.
