Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Dream Theater returns to Rio de Janeiro to perform live at Vivo Rio tonight, in Parque do Flamengo.
Featuring members, guitarist John Petrucci, bassist John Myung, vocalist James LaBrie, keyboardist Jordan Rudess, and percussionist Mike Mangini, the American progressive heavy metal band is currently on tour in support of their thirteenth studio album The Astonishing.
The Rolling Stone magazine recently reviewed the album as “An honest-to-God rock opera, complete with a cast of characters, a fantastical plot, animated trailers and a teeming raft of ancillary maps and legends.”
