Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – La Paz in Centro continues to celebrate its 3rd anniversary tonight with Baile do Ademar and the XARPI party.
DJs Nicole Nandes, Tamy, Mestre LP, Kajaman, Dree, and Goranmo will spin throughout the night. Additionally, Daflor will serve as Master of Ceremonies during the parties.
Promotions will include two-for-one specials on Catuaba, Antarctica, and Heineken all night.

Brazilian bandolinist Hamilton de Holanda returns to Circo Voador in Lapa tonight with the Baile do Almeidinha. This edition’s special guests Felipe and Manoel Cordeiro will join Holanda and his orchestra during the show. Additionally, the Sexteto Sucupira will perform to open the night and DJ Lencinho will spin during the night.

The Veneno party is back at Casa da Matriz in Botafogo tonight. For over ten years the weekly events, filled with good music and beautiful people, have helped start weekends early in Rio. Tonight will be no exception as DJ Tulio Araujo will spin the best of rock and pop on the first floor. Additionally, DJs Ingrid Gründig and Mariana Pinet will spin the best of trap, hip hop, pop, and funk on the second floor during the night for the Respeita as Minas party. The Salsa and Forró party is back at Lapa’s Leviano bar tonight and that means it’s time to dance. The group Mano a Mano will start things off at 8PM on the first floor with their reinterpretations of works by Hector Lavoe, Willie Colón, Rubén Bládes, Ismael Rivera, Eddie Palmieri and Buena Vista Social Clube. Trio Mussambê will open the night on the second floor with the best of forró and Marcelo Mimoso will follow with more great forró.
