Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – In anticipation of the upcoming Rio H2K – International Festival of Urban Dance in May, tonight Fosfobox in Copacabana will host the Rio H2K Dance Party.
During the night, DJ Bruno X will welcome the Rockmaster Party with DJs Andre Rockmaster, Pow, and MF to spin the best of hip hop, house, 70s and 80s funky, trap and dancehall.

The Veneno party returns to Casa da Matriz tonight. For over ten years the weekly events, filled with good music and beautiful people, have helped start weekends early in Rio. The Salsa and Forró party is back at Lapa’s Leviano bar tonight and that means it’s time to dance. The group Mano a Mano will start things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor and singer Marcelo Mimoso accompanied by musicians Carlos Cachaça, Nandinho Barros, Chico Oliveira, Chris Mourão and Rodrigo Ramalho will perform the best of forró on the second floor during the night.
