Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s time again for a sunset session of balearic grooves as the Rooftop Hotel of Caesar Park Ipanema hosts Rendez Vous with DJ Tee Cardaci tonight.
The rooftop area of the Caesar Park Hotel features stunning views and during the party, organizers promise tasty beverages and snacks to enjoy by the venue’s pool while DJ Cardaci spins the best of jazz, soul, disco, house and more.
It’s suggested that those interested in attending arrive early as the venue is subject to reaching capacity. Also if you get there early enough you’ll get the chance to see an incredible sunset.

Fish Magic (Botafogo)
The post-punk/folk rock/pop group Fish Magic will make its debut performance at Audio Rebel in Botafogo tonight. Consisting of singer-songwriter and guitarist Mário Quinderé, guitarist Gordinho, bassist Nicola Pamplona, keyboardist André Saddy and drummer Henrique Ludgero, Fish Magic released its debut album entitled, Songs From the Night Shift, earlier this year in March.

Festa Baganight (Lapa)
Tonight the Teatro Odisséia in Lapa will present the Festa Baganight with bands Sakanight and Rockted performing live. Sakanight formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2005 with influences ranging from Ultraje a Rigor, Mamomas Assassinas, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd while Rockted released their first album in 2010 and are known for their contagious energy during live shows.

Dedo and Chinese Cookie Poets (Centro)
Tonight Quintavant presents the final edition of the Ocupação Audio Rebel/Quintavant series at Sala Funarte. Groups Dedo and Chinese Cookie Poets will perform live. Dedo was formed by Lacerda, Lucas Pires and Rafael Meliga and is known for their audiovisual performances that address contemporary issues. The trio Chinese Cookie Poets consists of guitarist Marcos Campello, bassist Felipe Zenícola, and drummer Renato Goody and is known for free jazz.
