PARTY:
Arpex @ Woods Rio (Leblon) – The party that speaks all the languages ​​of the world lands at Wood’s Rio de Janeiro for another Sunday bash! There will be live saxophone from Marcelo Cebukin and then a DJ set from Ricardo Martins. For those looking for one last chance to celebrate the weekend, there are double doses of Caipirinha from midnight until 1AM.

Tickets are R$40 and suggested dress code is ‘formal’ so no flip flops or tank tops. Featuring the best music in unique surroundings, Woods guarantees a night of comfort, safety and fun. This night gets going at around 11PM.

LIVE:
Sotaques @ Audio Rebel (Botafogo) – This is the official release show of the album ‘Sotaques’ by Roberto Rutigliano. The disc was recorded recently in the studios of Warner Brasil and counted on the special participation of some of the greatest musicians of the Rio instrumental scene.

Featuring Sergio Barrozo on the contrabass, Marcelo Magalhães Pinto on the keyboards, José Arimatéa on the trumpet, Marcelo Martins on the sax and Roberto Rutigliano on the drums, the show and the disc will contain nine songs, five of which are original tracks and four by renowned composers, such as Coltrane, Parker, Jobim and Edu Lobo.

Tickets are R$30 and the show starts at 8PM.

PARTY:
DNA Social Club @ Barzin Rio (Ipanema) – DNA Social Club is the new club for Sundays at Barzin. The weekend doesn’t end until this event does.

From 9PM onwards their second floor lounge will open up where you can enjoy a great drink while listening to some deep house to get you into the mood for the evening. DJ MV Marcus Vinícius Russo will be DJing on the second floor.

Then from 11PM onwards, the party will continue to the third floor, a totally covered and air conditioned environment, where DJ Damn, Dan! Daniel Paiva, DJ Léo Monteiro, DJ Thais Marins, and DJ Afonso Feijó will be spinning the best tunes until dawn.

This week they have a special ‘buy early’ drinks offer, where if you buy a drink you get another free DNA drink. This offer runs until midnight. Entrance is between R$20-R$60 and doors open at 9PM.
