El Miraculoso SambaJazz @ Praia Vermelha (Urca) – This is a free event for everyone to attend at the beautiful Praia Vermelha in Urca.

El Miraculoso SambaJazz are a great group of musicians specializing in inventive reinterpretations of Brazilian classics. They are, on guitar: Jefferson Moreira; on drums: Gabriel Barbosa; on bass: Marcos Luz; on trumpet: Henrique Vaz.

The music should start at around 5PM.

PARTY:
Arpex @ Woods Rio (Leblon) – The party that speaks all the languages ​​of the world lands at Wood’s Rio de Janeiro for another Sunday bash!

There will be live saxophone from Marcelo Cebukin and then a DJ set from Ricardo Martins. For those looking for one last chance to celebrate the weekend, there are double doses of Caipirinha from midnight until 1AM.

Tickets are R$40 and suggested dress code is ‘formal’ so no flip flops or tank tops. Featuring the best music in unique surroundings, Woods guarantees a night of comfort, safety and fun. This night gets going at around 11PM.

Camerata SESI ES toca Tom Jobim @ Sala Cecília Meireles (Lapa) – Sixty years after João Gilberto joined the Odeon label in the center of Rio de Janeiro and changed the Brazilian music scene, Camerata Sesi ES joins Danilo Caymmi to honor this one of the greatest aesthetic movements of popular music: bossa nova.

Camerata Sesi ES are: Leonardo David, conductor; Danilo Caymmi, voice; Flávio Mendes, guitar and arrangements.

Tickets are between R$20 – R$40 and the night begins at 7PM.
