praçaSunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Known for presenting collectives, bands, DJs , and artists as part of a day of free programming, the Praça project will return to Circo Voador this Easter.

During the day, El Efecto, Marofas Grass Band and the duo Camelos will perform live and DJ Cavalcanti will spin during show intervals.

Additionally, there will be a class for aerobatics and language in the creative process with aerobatics teacher Amaralina Fagundes and guests.

Tonight the São Paul group Garotas Suecas will perform live at Audio Rebel in Botafogo.

Tonight the weekly Jazz no Morro event returns to Gilda in Cantagalo with the Relógio de Dali performing live. Additionally during the night, DJ Marc Nunes will spin the best of Brazilian music, dance music, and classic rock during show intervals.

Praça (Lapa)
The day-long free event, Praça, returns to Circo Voador today with El Efecto, Marofas Grass Band and the duo Camelos performing live; aerobatics teacher Amaralina Fagundes and guests hosting a class for aerobatics and language in the creative process; DJ Cavalcanti spinning during show intervals.

Sette Zouk (Leblon)
Tonight Sette Leblon will host the Sette Zouk party, Easter edition. There will be a Zouk dance class on the first floor beginning at 9PM and DJs spinning the best of hip hop, house, funk, sertanejo, and salsa beginning at 10PM. DJ Arkkanjo and Thiagão will spin the best of zouk on the second floor during the night.

Duo (Gávea)
It’s time once again for the best of house, electro, and pop as the twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club. DJs Marcela Penteado and Renato Bastos will start the party tonight by spinning on the deck beginning at 5PM. Then beginning at 12AM, DJs Rafael Calvente and Rody will follow, spinning inside on the dancefloor until 5AM Monday morning.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.

It’s time to dance as singer-songwriter Rogê returns to Lapa’s Carioca de Gema to perform his own lively compositions as well as covers of works by Jorge, Jorge Benjor, and Djavan, among others.

The Arpex Party returns to Barzin Bar and Restaurant in Ipanema tonight. DJ Ricardo Martins will spin funk, house, hip hop and reggaeton and saxophonist Marcelo Cebukin will perform live. Additionally, caipivodkas will be free until 12AM.
