O ClusterSunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The arts, music, fashion and food fair, O Cluster will return for its fifteenth edition today.

Taking place at Casa da Glória from 1PM – 9PM, the fair will celebrate World Environment Day with a special “Por um planeta mais saudável” (For a Healthier Planet) edition.

The special edition will feature a screening of the 2008 documentary “Food, Inc.” and an urban garden workshop.

Fashion, craft, food, and design brands and vendors participating in the event will include Another Hot Brand, Cofi, Quaint, Lahe, Rue, Guarda, Zsolt, Velt, Flow, Aro, Mesclado, Mash up, Nylow, Think Blue, Gaia, Paolla Falcão, Santa Expedita, Bossa Social, John Bags, Poch, Seiva, Cajuina, and Self +. Food vendors will include Bolo do Amor, Cris Cunha, Namasté, Falafel Falafel, Hagar, o sanduiche, Veg House, B burguer and Espirito de Porco.

Additionally, during the event DJs Andrei Yurevitch, Nado Leal, Saens Peña and Vinicius Tesfon will spin.

Primavera Vegana (Botafogo)
Celebrating healthier food options and vegan and sustainable cuisine, Comuna in Botafogo will host the first edition of the Primavera Vegana (Vegan Spring) event today from 10AM – 4PM. Participants will include Atelier no Jardim, Cake Vegan Cake, Chá Dão, Comuna, Congelados da Dona Regina, Fefa Pimenta, Granola Real, K.Probioticos, Manacá, Mari Marola, No Moo, Paixão Vegan, Prana Vegetariano, Purifica, Slow Bakery, and Umami.

O Cluster (Glória)

O Mercado (Laranjeiras)
Today O Mercado (The Market) returns for a second day at the Fluminense Football Club in Laranjeiras. The special Dia dos Namorados (Brazilian Valentine`s Day) edition of the fair features approximately eighty brands and vendors of fashion, art, crafts, and decor and there will be twelve gastronomic vendors offering food and drinks that include pizza, hot dogs, sandwiches, tamales, risotto, wraps, tea, beer, cakes, candies, and brownies, among other food options. Additionally, DJs Galalau, Tulio Araujo and Chu are spinning during the event.

Jazz no Morro with Jazzophilia (Cantagalo)
Tonight the weekly Jazz no Morro event returns to Gilda in Cantagalo with the group Jazzophilia performing a special tribute to Stevie Wonder. Additionally during show intervals, DJs will spin the best of Brazilian music, dance music, and rock.

The twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club tonight with DJs beginning the night at 5PM by spinning the best of house, electro, and pop on the deck. More DJs will follow, spinning inside until 5AM Monday morning.

Tonight Cabaret Lounge in Botafogo will host Samba do Humaitá. The group Doce Veneno will perform the best of samba and retro pagode live and DJ Haron Dufau will spin the best of house, hip hop, pop, sertanejo, and more during the night.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.

Tonight at Lapa’s Carioca de Gema Marcos Novatto and Groove Pimenta will perform the best of samba, xote and sambalanço including their reinterpretations of works by Noel Rosa, Chico Buarque, Jorge Ben Jor, Seu Jorge, Bebeto, and Luiz Gonzaga, among others.
