ArpexSunday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight the Arpex party returns to Barzin Bar and Restaurant in Ipanema.
A weekly event at the venue, the Bem Brasil Entretenimento produced party is well known and loved by many in the city.

Tonight DJ Daniel Faria will spin the best of house, hip hop, and reggaeton and saxophonist Marcelo Cebukin will perform live. Additionally, caipivodkas will be free until 12AM.

It promises to be a great way to end the weekend.

Tonight Bichano Records presents post-hardcore band Enema Noise, emo band Def, and the shoegaze/noise rock duo Gorduratrans performing live at Audio Rebel in Botafogo.

Jazz no Morro with the Abel Ribeiro Trio (Cantagalo)
Tonight the weekly Jazz no Morro event returns to Gilda in Cantagalo with the samba-jazz, bossa-jazz, and Brazilian instrumental quintet No Olho da Rua performing live. During show intervals, DJs will spin the best of Brazilian music and pop.

Duo (Gávea)
The twelve-hour Duo party returns to Gávea’s chic 00 (Zero Zero) club tonight with DJ Babi starting things off by spinning on the deck beginning at 5PM. Then beginning at 11PM, DJs Diego Valente and Pedro Massucatti will follow, spinning inside until 5AM Monday morning.

Samba do Humaitá @ Cabaret (Botafogo)
Tonight Cabaret Lounge in Botafogo will host Samba do Humaitá with special guest Gabriel Tavares. Additionally, the group Doce Veneno will perform the best of samba and retro pagode live and DJ Haron Dufau will spin the best of classic fun, house, hip hop, pop, sertanejo and more during the night.

Roda de Samba and Football with Ballet 2 Passistas (Football) (Lapa)
Sundays are all about samba and soccer at Lapa’s Leviano bar. Every week beginning at 5PM the venue plays live games on their screens with samba dancers following the matches and the group Samba Di Buteco playing classics of the genre, including works by Arlindo Cruz, Zeca Pagodinho and João Nogueira, among others. Additionally, DJ Mukato will spin during show intervals.

Bar Urca (Urca)
