Dom Jam @ NOSSO Ipanema (Ipanema) – Alexandre Duarte and guests play jazz standards and a repertoire of Brazilian bossa nova songs.

Revista Gato Preto @ Comuna (Botafogo) – This Sunday Comuna receives the magazine Gato Preto. From 6:30PM onwards the DJ Sets of the guests Ms LaryHill and Ramon Silva will begin.

The event is a meeting point for those interested in independent publications and for those who want to enjoy music, drink something and start the week well.

Gato Preto is an independent magazine developed as a graduate work by designer Rodrigo Bento. The project arose from the need to document and expose the work of black Brazilian artists in order to move the discussion forward.

The magazine will be on sale for R$30, otherwise entry is free.

Jazz @ Descasados (Santa Teresa) – This is a unique presentation of jazz to kick off the month of July.

For the World Cup season Bar dos Descasados be hosting jazz and dancing with Widor Santiago, Sergio Barrozo, Adaury Mothé and Roberto Rutigliano.

Come to this free event up on the hill of Santa Teresa, drink exotic drinks and cachaças on a romantic and sophisticated terrace of a luxury hotel located in a preserved mansion built in colonial times.

The night will run from 6PM until 10PM.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
