Samba du Black @ Sunset Samba (Centro) – Nothing like watching the sunset while listening to some live samba, surrounded by some of the best views the Cidade Maravilhosa has to offer.

Sunset Samba comes from the producer of Feijoada da Casa Rosa, Samba dos Guimarães, Samba da Lagoa, Samba da Lua Cheia, Samba das Laranjeiras and Samba da Urca. In the open air with an incredible view of the Guanabara Bay, Cristo Redentor, Sugar Loaf, Sunset Samba invites you to a sunset listening party to the most beautiful Brazilian rhythms, courtesy of top samba troupe, Samba du Black.

Tickets are from R$20-R$35 and the evening should begin at 6PM.

PARTY:
Resenha do Mumu @ Jockey Club Brasileiro (Gávea) – After a 2018 of incredible parties, Resenha do Mumu returns with a great line-up to kick off 2019.

Confirmed guests include Mumuzinho, Tirre, Saraiva and Rapha. Prepare for a Carnivalesque, festival atmosphere at this great outdoor party event.

Tickets are available from R$110 – R$140 and the party gets started at 3PM.

PARTY:
Salsa Cubana @ Praia Vermelha (Urca) – The ‘Rueda de Janeiro’ group organizes this beautiful outdoor event with Cuban salsa classes and a free ‘Rueda de Casino’ (Salsa dancing circle).

Enjoy the view of Sugarloaf mountain, relax on the beach, listen to the music, have a drink, and of course dance some Cuban salsa!

This is a free event and the classes will start at 5PM with instructor Christian Coelho.

Just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave Ipanema is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the international crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
