LIVE:
O Rio do samba @ Museu de Arte do Rio (Centro) – Experienced by more than 200,000 people, the exhibition ‘O Rio do samba: resistência e reinvenção’ is coming to a close tomorrow, and there’s going to be a closing party befitting of the title, with plenty of live music and other treats.

Come down for one last look at the exhibition, and then stay for the live shows that start from 3PM onwards, including Sarau do Samba, Papagaio Sabido, Mangueira samba school and DJ Marcelo MBgroove.

This free event starts at 10AM.

PARTY:
Baile Black Bom @ Imperator (Méier) – Fancy one last dance on Sunday? Head up to Méier for Baile Black Bom, one of Rio’s most beloved and popular parties, featuring DJ Flash, DJ Loopy Rj, plus a Black Cultural Fair with the best fashion, arts and accessories.

If you’re a fan of live music then there’ll also be a special show from Consciencia Tranquila featuring Alan Camargo from ‘The Voice Brasil.’ This is a night not to be missed!

Tickets are available from R$15 and the night gets going at 6PM.

LIVE:
BraJazz Fest @ Marina da Glória (Glória) – This festival is going on throughout the weekend and beyond. Why not pop down to the beautiful surroundings of Marina da Glória and check out some of the best live jazz in Rio all framed by one of the finest views (and sunsets) in the city.

For those budding musicians out there, there’ll be a workshop with Afrojazz, and once you’ve played all the jazz you can muster, sit back and enjoy the sounds of Baixada Jazz Big Band, followed by Afrojazz featuring Marcos Suzano and Eduardo Neves.

This free festival starts at 3PM.
