Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight the all-vinyl, funky-filled Disco Godfathers party will premiere at Armazem Cultural São Joaquim in Santa Teresa.
Spinning the best of everything from classic funk to soul to hip hop during the party’s debut, will be resident DJs, Brazilian DeeJay Alex Paz of the Coletivo Amo Vinil and American Tee Cardaci of the Botafogo Social Club.
Additionally tonight, the duo will welcome very special guest DJ Fleg from Baltimore, Maryland. Known around the world for his work within the bboy community, his set is sure to keep the crowd dancing tonight.

Tonight Teatro Odisséia in Lapa will host the Rocknbeats party, Arabian Nights edition. Sucessful throughout Brazil, the party arrives in Rio tonight and promises to blend the best of Indian and Middle Eastern rhythms with the best of modern indie and pop. DJs Thiago Burgos, Arlei Machado, Vitor Dill and Bruno Mozka will spin and there will be black lights, neon paints, a glowing wall panel and glowsticks will be distributed.
