Bar BukowskiSaturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Bar Bukowski is once again hosting the Resistindo Desde 1997 party with plenty of rock and indie music, as it is famous for.

Bar Bukowski has several environments including an outdoor area which each serve a different purpose. Some areas are quieter to chat with friends whilst others are especially for dancing. There will be four bars open serving various beers, cairpirinha flavors and cocktails.

There will also be a Happy Hour before Resistindo desde 1997 with free entry.

Mondial de la Biere (Centro)
Today marks the second day of the highly anticipated event of Mondial de la Biere. The beer festival offers 400 different labels of international and national beer at over 120 stalls. In addition to beer tasting and opportunity to buy them, there will also be music and various gastronomical outlets.

Arte Core (Flamengo)
Arte Core is back in Rio de Janeiro, bringing with it a reunion of street art, skate art and music. There will be several DJs and bands playing throughout the two-day art festival and there will also be skate competitions, interactive art displays and food trucks.

O Que Vamos Comer Amanha? (Centro)
What Will We Eat Tomorrow is a series of seminars and discussions about this topic held at the Museum of Tomorrow. During the event, the museum will become a hub of industry experts and talks as they discuss and project various issues and possibilities surrounding this matter.

Rebimboca (Copacabana)
From 3PM today, Gilda no Cantagalo in Copacabana will host the party, Rebimboca with DJs spinning the best of blac music, hip hop, dance, hipster, new jazz, reggaeton and Brazilian music all day and into the night. Promotions will include two for one on caipirinhas until 5PM.

Resistindo Desde 1997 (Botafogo)
Tonight, Bar Bukowski will host the party Resistano Desde 1997, bringing more rock and roll including a live performance from Bella Godiva with the best of rock from the 80s.

Sertanejo with Mateus (Lagoa)
Tonight, Miroir will host a night of sertanejo with a live performance from Mateus from the Voice. Promotions will include free caipirinhas for women until midnight and all night promotions of Heineken and vodka combos.

Singer Thiago Genthil will start the night at Rio Scenarium at 8PM by performing the best of samba, jazz and bossa nova. At 9PM, Nó na Madeira RJ will perform the best of samba raiz. Then at 11PM Sarah with Marquinho de Oswaldo Cruz will perform the best of sambas renditions. Finally at 3:30 AM, Chamego Nordestino will return to peform the best of forró.

Bar 48 (Ipanema)
Located in the heart of the Ipanema neighborhood, Bar 48 (Quarenta e Oito) is one of the hottest new bars in the city. Owned and operated by French expats, the bar is making a name for itself by hosting live music, DJ sets and by offering a nice atmosphere and great mixed drinks including caipirinhas.

Blue Agave Ipanema (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the mostly English-speaking crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
