Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight, the Blue Agave in Ipanema – one of Rio’s favorite expat bars – is celebrating their 8th anniversary since opening in 2009.
Starting from 8PM, American expatriate (from San Fransisco) DJ Tee Cardaci will be the playing his hot groove throughout the night, and there will be promotions on the nachos, double doses on beer bucket and on drinks, and a “shots’ roulette” for R$10.
This party is bound to get loose and messy so bring your party pants!

The New Mariuzinn Copacabana will host the We Love RJ! party again tonight. As always, there will also be a four-hour open bar from 11PM to 3AM with Smirnoff Vodka, tropical drinks, caipirinhas, Sex on the Beach, Blue Lagoon, Antarctica beer, mineral water, and sodas. Palaphita Funk Club with MC Marcinho (Gavea)
Tonight, Palaphita will host the Palaphita Funk Club party, bringing the hottest and latest from Brazilian funk music. DJs Bernado Malta and Silvio Rio will be spinning throughout the night. MC Marcinho will also perform, playing hits like “Glamurosa” and “Solitário”. This venue is a place to get dressed-up for and wearing flip flops could prevent guests from entering.
