We have the top three picks for this Saturday, and below there is a list of bars and lounges that are always a good option.

LIVE:
Black Bird @ Bar Bukowski (Botafogo) – This Saturday, the most renowned and awarded Beatles tribute from Brazil will be invading one of the most well-known rock ‘n’ roll clubs in Rio, Bukowski’s.

The band Black Bird will present their impeccable tribute to the boys of Liverpool and they promise to bring those classics that everyone loves. Then there will be the best DJs playing all the alternative hits until dawn.

There is a drinks offer of two-for-one Corona beer until midnight. Tickets are between R$35-R$55, and the club opens at 9PM.

LIVE:
Karol Conka @ Praça Mauá (Centro) – The acclaimed singer Karol Conka is putting on a free show at Rio’s Praça Mauá in the regenerated Porto Maravilha neighborhood in the city center.

This show is part of the Women of the World festival and is also in support of Conka’s latest album ‘Ambulante.’

8PM is the scheduled start time and this is a free open-air concert.

LIVE:
Morada do Samba @ Mourisco Mar (Botafogo) – This is a chance to enjoy the spectacular view of Rio’s Guanabara Bay, plus the Sugarloaf Mountain, with a cold beer or caipirinha, all accompanied with some great live samba music.

The main attraction is of course the Roda de Samba do Bloco Rebarbas (Bloco Rebarbas Samba Circle) but there will also be great music courtesy of DJ Cyro who will be spinning tunes in the intervals and after the performance.

Tickets are R$25 and the evening begins at around 9:30PM.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Located just around the corner from Posto 9, Blue Agave in Ipanema is well known for great Mexican food, drinks, and for broadcasting live sports. Additionally, most of the wait staff and crowd speak English.
