Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The popular Manie Dansante event returns tonight and will take place in Malha, a new venue for the party that is located in the neighborhood of São Cristovão.
The twelve-hour party will feature a special edition of the vintage culture fair with fashion, accessories, workshops, dances, and food plus DJs spinning the best of electro swing, retro beats, and sounds from the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s mixed with the sounds of tomorrow.
Andrei Y, Bruno Queiroz, Vinicius Tesfon, and Rodrigo Esper of the Manie Gang and guests Furmiga Dub, Zé Guilherme, Lindy Riot, Juca, the XX Circus show, and Glauci Chaplin will spin throughout the night.
Suggested dress code is lindy hop, clown, bearded lady, cabaret, burlesque, pin up, 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, sword swallower, drunk gentleman, contortionist, Colombina, retroglam and retrofreaks.
Entry is free until 12AM.
