PARTY:
Rock de Verdade @ Bar Bukowski (Botafogo) – On the first Saturday of the year, Bukowski bar are going to get things started with a party dedicated to the best of true rock ‘n’ roll.
The band Led Eyes are going to be playing a live set featuring the repertoire of one of the most popular rock bands of all time: Led Zeppelin. Then the night will continue with their three dancefloors playing every great track from both national and international rock until dawn. Drink promotion for the night is a two-for-one on Corona until midnight.
Tickets are between R$35-R$55 and the night will begin at around 9PM.

MC Carol @ Ganjah Lapa (Lapa) – One of the most exciting venues in Lapa will be hosting a live performance from renowned Carioca hip-hop staple MC Carol, plus another live show from Blackyva.
Later in the evening, there will be DJ sets courtesy of Pamela Belli and Garota (Afrofunk Rio).
Tickets are between R$10-R$15 and the night will get going at 9PM.

Samba Souto @ Ao Mirante Bistro Urbano (Santa Teresa) – Saturday brings a new live samba experience in Santa Teresa to the Bar ao Mirante. The view from the bar is beautiful, the beer is cold and the samba will be live and kicking.
The ‘roda da samba’ (samba circle) will feature Daniel Souto, Vinícius Do Vale, and Jahi De Oliveira Bernardes.
This event is free and starts at 6PM.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.
