Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The popular Botafogo Social Club party returns tonight with very special guest Keb Darge.
Arriving directly from London to spin in Rio de Janeiro for the first time, Darge will bring parts of his legendary record collection, which includes rarities, 60s Garage, rockabilly, surf, funk and more.
The party will take place at Cordão Bola Preta in Lapa and in addition to Darge, spinning tonight will be DJ Pogo from the UK, DJ Pachu, Daniel Juca from Bangarang Sound System, Marcelinho da Lua from Ya’Ya High-Fi, Tee Cardaci and Alez Paz from the Disco Godfathers and Botafogo Social Club (BSC) parties.
This promises to be a night not to be missed by lovers of vinyl records, 60s Garage, funk, and soul in Rio.

Tonight at Oi Futuro Ipanema, American composer, pianist and keyboardist Missy Mazzoli will perform live accompanied by Austrian violinist Olivia de Prato. The show will close out the 2016 edition of the Rc4 Festival. Mazzoli is considered by many critics to be one of the biggest up-and-coming composers in the contemporary music scene.
