Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Known for delivering some of the best underground sounds in the city since 2010, the RUN VDG party returns to the Alto Vidigal hostel tonight with two stages of DJs.
DJs Gustavo Tata, Nina Soul, and Caio Busetti will spin the best of deep house, tech house, and techno on the first stage and DJs Murray Richardson and Stuart Patterson will spin the best of house and classics on the second stage.
Promotions during the night will include two-for-one specials on caipirinhas until midnight.
The venue is known for its spectacular views, as it is perched high above the city in the favela of Vidigal. To help partygoers get to the party, shuttles will run from Leblon (Rita Ludolf Street, 47) for R $ 10.

Festival Rc4 with PianOrquestra (Ipanema)
Tonight the Brazilian experimental instrumental group PianOrquestra will perform live with special guest Bryan Holmes at Oi Futuro Ipanema. The show is part of the ongoing Rc4 Festival. Consisting of musical director Claudío Dauelsberg, percussionist Mako Tanaka, and pianists Marina Spoladore, Priscilla Azevedo and Anne Amberget and during performances, PianOrquestra members are known to use drumsticks, guitar picks and other objects to explore the tones and the percussive elements of the piano. Sometimes with two sets of hands on the keys with two more playing on the instrument`s strings and another set beating the piano`s body like a drum, they turn the instrument into an orchestra unto itself.
