Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s time for the very best of psychobilly, rockabilly, punk, 80s, ska, swing and more as Saloon 79 in Botafogo celebrates resident DJ, Theddy-O’s birthday with live bands and DJs spinning throughout the night.
During the festival dubbed as “Mega Festançca Rock’n’roll,” the bands A Grande Trepada, Dirty Devil Band, and Run Devil Run will perform live.
Additionally during the night, DJs Léo 77, Isiska, YEIS, and Kleber Tuma will join Theddy-O to to spin during what promises to be a lively night.

Cine Daros no Pátio, “Fantastic Mr. Fox” (Botafogo)
The free animated film screening series Cine Daros no Pátio continues tonight at the Casa Daros museum tonight with a screening of the 2009 American film “Fantastic Mr. Fox.” Directed by Wes Anderson, the film features the voice of George Clooney as Mr. Fox and the voice of Meryl Streep as Mrs. Fox. The stop-motion animated film tells the story of Mr. Fox, his family, his friends and his conflicts with neighboring human farmers. The film will be screened in its original language (English) with Portuguese subtitles.
