Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight HSBC Arena is Barra da Tijuca will host the UFC 190 with UFC women’s bantamweight champion, American Ronda Rousey battling Brazilian Bethe Correia as the main event of the night.
Additional fights on the main card during the night will include Shogun Rua vs. Rogério Minotouro, Glaico França vs. Fernando “Açougueiro” Bruno, Reginaldo Vieira vs. Dileno Lopes, Stefan Struve vs. Minotauro Nogueira, Antônio Pezão vs. Soa Palelei, Claudia Gadelha vs. Jessica Aguilar.
Preliminary card fights will include Demian Maia vs. Neil Magny, Rafael Cavalcante vs. Patrick Cummins, Warlley Alves vs. Nordine Taleb, Iuri Marajó vs. Leandro Brodinho, Vitor Miranda vs. Clint Hester, and Hugo Wolverine vs. Guido Cannetti.
Tickets are still available for the event here, but for those who can’t make it out to Barra da Tijuca or prefer to watch the fights in a Rio de Janeiro bar or pub, many will be showing the fight tonight including in Shenanigan’s Irish Pub in Ipanema (Rua Visconde de Pirajá, 112).
HSBC Gates will open at 5PM. The event begins at 7:30PM and Rousey and Correia are scheduled to fight after 10PM.

The InVentos event returns to Fundição Progresso today and tonight from beginning at 10AM. The mostly free event (there will be an entrance fee after 8PM) will include over forty attractions. There will be circus performers, film screenings, theater performances, yoga, African dance performances, capoeira presentations of live music peformed by guest including Monica Besser, Julia Bosco, Gabriel Improta, Felipe Prazeres, Rodrigo Eberienos, Eliza Schinner and Kelder Paiva.
