LIVE:
Forró do Trabalhador @ Rua do Lavradio, 170 (Lapa) – Join this unforgettable gathering of musicians and friends of forró, one of the most up-tempo and danceable of Brazil’s many musical genres.

Be a part of the only event in Rio de Janeiro that brings together musicians from the São Cristóvão Fair and special guests from the city’s forró circuit.

Tickets available from R$15 – R$20 and the dancing starts at 5 PM.

PARTY:
The Glow Party! @ New Mariuzinn (Copacabana) – Once again, The Glow Party! is here to blow away those Monday cobwebs.

Free caipirinhas until midnight, random tequila shots, and of course lots of dark light and fluorescent paint. Come and start the week with a bang with both a live samba act and resident DJs spinning house, hip-hop, reggaeton, and of course plenty of pop classics.

The party starts at 11 PM, and tickets are between R$40-R$60.

Grecco em Voz & Violão @ Bar da Lapa (Barra da Tijuca) – If you’re in the Barra area, head down to Bar da Lapa for a special live set courtesy of Jeff Grecco.

He’ll be playing the best rock ‘n’ roll anthems while you can enjoy an ice-cold chope beer and some delicious bar snacks.

This event begins at 6 PM, and it’s free.

Run by a British expat, Winehouse boasts an eclectic range of wines both local and international. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those who aren’t too keen on wine, there are plenty of beer and cocktail options, too. Happy hour begins at 5 PM and ends at 8 PM.

Nosso (Ipanema)
Located in a charming house at Maria Quitéria street, Nossos’s sophisticated drinks and dishes are undoubtedly worth a try. You will also enjoy Nosso if you are a rum lover: their rum drinks, with labels from Cuba and Jamaica, are the house specialties.

Macaco Caolho Rock ‘n’ Drinks (Copacabana)
Open until 3 AM, and with an ever-changing drink and food menu, this Irish pub is always busy with live entertainment, karaoke, and special offers to keep their loyal clientele coming back for more.
