LIVE:
Samba do Trabalhador @ Renascença Clube (Andaraí) – One of the most authentic samba nights in the city, Samba Do Trabalhador, led by the legendary musician Moacyr Luz, will be sure to kick off the week in true carioca style.

With cold beer, traditional Brazilian food and a convivial atmosphere, the Renascença Clube is well worth the trip to Andaraí for those who are more used to spending time in Zona Sul (South Zone).

Things usually get going at 4:30PM and tickets are between R$20 – R$40.

PARTY:
The Glow Party! @ New Mariuzinn (Copacabana) – You know what you’re getting with The Glow Party!: free caipirinhas until midnight, random tequila shots, and of course lots of dark light and fluorescent paint.

Come and dance away the Monday blues to both a live samba act and resident DJs spinning house, hip-hop, reggaeton, and of course plenty of pop classics.

The party starts at 11PM and tickets are between R$40-R$60.

LIVE:
Pavel Nersessian @ Theatro Municipal (Centro) – One of the most versatile and admired Russian pianists stops by for a Monday evening at Rio’s illustrious Theatro Municipal.

Fans of classical piano from the likes of Bizet and Debussy will be in for a treat as Nersessian presents a wide-ranging repotoire that will no doubt have something for everyone.

Tickets are between R$50 – R$300 and the evening begins at 8PM.

Located in a charming house at Maria Quitéria street, Nossos’s sophisticated drinks and dishes are undoubtedly worth a try. You will also enjoy Nosso if you are a rum lover: Their rum drinks, with labels from Cuba and Jamaica, are the house specialties.

Macaco Caolho Rock ‘n’ Drinks (Copacabana)
Open until 3AM and with an ever-changing drinks and food menu, this Irish pub is always busy with live entertainment, karaoke, and special offers to keep their loyal clientele coming back for more.
