PARTY:
Funk In Rio O Baile 7 Anos @ Hub RJ (Santo Cristo) – An event to commemorate seven years of Funk in Rio parties, celebrating the culture that was born in the favela communities of the Cidade Maravilhosa.

The huge line up includes: Renan da Penha, Zullu, Delacruz & Banda, Paredão de som, Baile da Colômbia, Kim Quaresma, Rafael Pit Bull, Zebrinha do Pistinha, Dollynho da Lapa, Caslu, Alan Castro, Jonatan da Provi, Byano, and Moises da Torre.

The night gets going at 11PM and tickets are available from R$30-R$120

LIVE:
Sofar Rio @ Mystery Location (Centro) – Sofar (Songs from a room) Sounds is a project that presents the magic of live music through intimate shows put on in unusual environments. This time the event is in partnership with the ‘Festival do Rio’ (Rio International Film Festival).

It’s a unique event where participants can enjoy an experience full of good music, while also getting in close proximity to the musicians, finding new places in the city and also enjoying the experience of a real surprise while in the comfort of a crowd of like-minded people.

Sofar Sounds performs secret surprise shows. They do not release the identity of the bands or performers before the event. The address of the location is only revealed 48 hours prior to the event and only to confirmed participants.

This Sofar Sounds event will be starting at 7PM in the city center, with three to five bands or artists each playing a set of around twenty minutes. Tickets are priced at R$35-R$45.

Rock on the Beach @ Praia no Leme (Leme) – After the success of the last edition, ‘Rock on the Beach’ comes back for an even bigger party this November.

They will be paying tribute to ‘Rock in Rio,’ who has just announced an amazing line up for the next festival. In this edition, Rock on the Beach will do a special party featuring the already confirmed bands for 2019, such as Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Megadeth, Sepultura, while not ignoring the strong possibilities of Helloween and Pearl Jam.

The event starts at 6PM and is only R$5

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Void/House of Food (Botafogo)
Blending culinary, drinks and fashion, the bar/store invites a different chef to prepare a new menu every week. Besides great imported beer labels, it usually serves delicious veggie food and homemade burgers.

Pavão Azul (Copacabana)
Pavão Azul is a lively bar in Copacabana, famous for its exceptionally cold beers and prawn pastels. It gets crowded there every night, making every day of the week seem like the weekend.

Canastra Bar (Ipanema)
The Canastra Wine Bar in Ipanema offers a great selection of wines and cheeses and is quickly becoming known for its nice atmosphere and friendly service.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
