Pede Teresa (Centro) – Group Pede Teresa is back to Praça Tiradentes, in Centro, with one of the coolest “roda de samba” in Rio.

Starting at 6PM, the Pede Teresa’s “roda de samba” gathers people from all ages and tribes to sing and dance along the best compositions from the genre.

Ocupação Diálogos: Tião Carvalho and Grupo Cupuaçu (Flamengo) – Tonight, the “Ocupação Diálogos” project brings the traditional music from Maranhão (Brazil’s Northern State) to Flamengo, at 8PM.

Musician and dancer Tião Carvalho, along with his group Cupuaçu, will present folkloric rhythms like cacuriá, ciranda de roda, bumba meu boi, tambor de crioula and maculelê.

Duo Pitaya (Lapa) – Tonight, the Duo Pitaya performs at Triboz, in Centro, presenting a selected repertoire of jazz and instrumental music.

Composed of cellist Nora Fortunato and pianist Maria di Cavalcanti, the duo will play works from masters like George Gershwin, Astor Piazzolla,, Liduino Pitombeira and Gijs Andriessen.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites.
