Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – It’s time for the best of samba and The Beatles tonight as Sacadura 154 will host the Auê (party) do Bloco do Sargento Pimenta with Bloco Pra Iaiá.
In addition to performances by Carnival blocos Sargento Pimenta and Pra Iaiá, attractions will include DJs RV, Rapha Lima, Beto Artista, Larissa Busch, Sapucaia, Thiago Burgos, Iuri Carvalho, and the Coletivo de Artistas de Circo.
The gourmet area will also feature vendors from Street BurguerZ, DeltaMaki, and Confeitaria Itajaí.

Tonight comtemporay classical pianist Kai Schumacher will perform live at Oi Futuro Ipanema as part of the ongoing Rc4 Festival. Schumacher is known for mixing contemporary classical music with techno, rock, found sound, samples, jazz, acoustic piano, toy piano and other electronics. During the show on tonight, Schumacher will perform works from his album Transcription. Praised for his reinterpretations of works by Muse, System of a Down, Portishead, Megadeth, Rage Against the Machine, and Nirvana, among others, Schumacher is also known to include light installations and video projections in his performances.
